Jag började med det här tittskåpen med körsbärsblommor och fjärilar i vintras. Började med det mossiga partiet i mitten, vilket blev till då jag lekte med en stencil och olika Tonic mousse. Det blev startskottet, därefter kom grenarna fulla med körsbärsblommorna till (olika Susan’s garden dies). Ramen är från IKEA och miniatyrerna hittade jag efter omfattande sökande på Wish. Där hittade jag även gräsfibrer i olika nyanser, använde dem all, två till gräset och två till busken med blommorna (blommorna är Flower Soft som jag hittade i gömmorna). Planket är en Tim Holtz die infärgade med Distress ink, spikarna Nuvo drops.
Muren klippt jag utför förhand från vanligt card stock och infärgad in med olika Distress Oxide. Himlen och gräset bakom planket är chalk pastell och målen är framsuddade med ett suddgummi. Ornamenten på ramens framsida är gjutna i formar från Prima, med paper clay. Övriga dekorationer på ramen är en kedja och en bård runt kanten på ramen (Tonic dies). När allt var fast limmat, målades hela ramen och dess utsmyckning med mörkbrun akrylfärg som sedan behandlades med olika Inka Gold vaxer. Alla fjärilarna är stansar från Tonic och guldtråd till antenner samt sen stora har även fått lite 3D glaze.
This Project started last winter… when I played with a stencil and various Tonic mousse and made the mossy part in the middle. Then I made the branches full of cherry blossoms (various Susan’s garden dies). The frame is from IKEA and the miniatures I found after extensive searching on Wish. I also found a pack of grass fibres in different shades there, used them all two for the bush with the flowers and two on the grass. The flowers on the bush are Flower Soft that I found in my stash. I made the plank with a Tim Holtz die, stained with some Distress inks; the nails are Nuvo drops. I cut out the Wall by hand from ordinary card stock and dyed it with different Distress Oxide.
Sky and the grass behind the plank are chalk pastel; and some of the clouds are made with an eraser. The ornaments on the front of the frame are cast in moulds from Prima, with paper clay. I also altered the frame with some cut outs frame, a chain, and a border around the side of the frame (Tonic dies). All glued on and then the entire frame with its decoration were painted with dark brown acrylic paint. After it was dried it was treated with various Inka Gold waxes. Th butterflies are Tonic dies, where I added gold threads as antennas. The large butterfly on the ornament have also got some 3D glaze.
